We carried out a really awesome upgrade for a client. From an 8kw single phase Sunsynk inverter with 10kw Freedom Won battery to the new intelligent 30kw Sigenergy 3phase inverter with 27kw battery. With room to expand, taking him closer to being off grid and away from those heavy Eskom bills.

The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) has advised homeowners and businesses not to rush into registering their rooftop solar systems just yet.

Eskom has agreed to review certain concerns, so waiting for clearer guidance could save you potential costs and headaches later.

Castle Lights Electrical just helped another client who had been taken advantage of by an unqualified solar installer. They had a very messy installation: 2x 5kW LuxPower inverters and 2x 5kW batteries installed without fuse disconnects, and DC isolators used for AC supplies, causing circuit breakers to melt and fail that we fixed. Always make sure your solar installer is a registered electrician and can provide a certificate of compliance. Check out the before and after pics!

Just finished a major project! We recently inspected and repaired an incorrect solar installation on 2x 5kW LuxPower inverters with 2x 5kW batteries and 12x panels. The original setup was non-compliant and dangerous. While our client was building a new cottage and garage, we took the chance to relocate the inverter and batteries to the garage. The new installation looks amazing! Check out the before and after photos. 🌞
