1. The Solar Show Africa 2020 at Johannesburg has been deferred to August 20-21, 2020

2 The Energy Access Conference Mallorca has been postponed to September 23-25, 2020

3.Intersolar Europe in Munich has cancelled the 2020 event. The next Intersolar Europe is set to take place from June 9-11, 2021

South Africa's Biggest yet.

During a televised address on Tuesday night, President Ramaphosa announced $26bn economic package to deal with the health and economic consequences from the COVID-19 pandemic. The package is roughly 10% of the country’s GDP. It is the biggest package yet to be announced on the continent. South Africa, despite its recent downgrade, has a longstanding history of accessing international and local capital markets to issue debt. We believe we will bounce back bigger and stronger.

Easing restrictions | South Africa will begin easing a nationwide lockdown from May 1 in a bid to revive the country’s ailing economy. South Africa, which currently has the most cases in Africa, follows Ghana in tentatively lifting its lockdown in two key cities on Monday. We hope to continue with our work going foward.
