We are located in central/north/east Johannesburg and we currently service most areas in Gauteng, expanding into Pretoria and surroundings within the next year. Our services include Security Guarding, Security audits, supply and installation of Alarm and Access control systems, CCV
and RFI equipment and much more. Henson Security, Founded by Arthur Henson and Mark Idle in 2012. Henson Security and Guarding aims to revolutionise the security and guarding industry in Southern Africa. We, after extensively analysing the current security market, identified the need for a fresh, unique approach to the security sector. We believe Henson Security and Guarding has a unique advantageous combination of knowledge, experience, drive and financial backing which will ensure market penetration and future growth. Research revealed that a large majority of security companies could be put into two categories. The first is the large corporation type, primarily an impersonal "strictly business" approach, target large companies or groups, with inflexible service offerings. These large corporation security companies are expensive and mostly unable to adapt to customers specific requirements. The second is the smaller companies, these are mostly run by ex-police officers or security supervisors, they have limited resources or financial backing, can be unreliable, undercharge and often underpay staff, they may not always perform proper staff background checks, rely on personal relationships to secure contracts and do not provide flexible services and specific solutions. It should be noted that many are not properly registered and this could result in serious risks, i.e: insurance claims being repudiated etc. We are fully compliant and adhere to the following regulations:

Before employing a security officer, we conduct a thorough background check on the individual. This includes:

*Confirm PSIRA qualifications and accreditation
*Confirm residential address
*Credit report
*Psychological Stress Evaluation (conducted by an independent Voice Stress Analysis Service). This has been proven effective for the detection of deception (lie detection), or truth verification. It accurately determines an individual psychological stress profile. Company Vision:

*Management perform random on side inspectors during the day and night to ensure attendance, sobriety and smartness. Our guards are paraded and inspected before being dispatched to their posts.
*All incidents on site will ve recorded in an occurrence book and relayed to management. There will be weekly meetings between our Operations Manager and Management to ensure that all problems are dealt with timorously. We have trained personnel to investigate any incident. Operations manager:
Client liaison and onsite quality control. Area Manager:
Each site has a dedicated area manager who is responsible for controlling the daily supervisors, client liaison, service quality and onsite training. Supervisors:
Responsible for daily security officer posting, equipment testing, site equipment testing, site quality control and daily reporting to the area manager. Reports:
*Time the guard reports on the duty at the premises.
*Half-hourly clocking by the guard.
*Whether the control unit is being tampered with.
*Failure to carry out or complete a patrol.
*When assistance is required due to fire or any other emergency. Our Service Level Agreement:
*Management will visit your site regularly, from the Supervisor to the Director. This assures the effectiveness of our officers, our services and how satisfies our clients are.
*The supervisor will inspect the entire site. (Daily and/or nightly)
*The Supervisor will have a list of all of the functions of our security's responsibility (operations book) enabling him to compile a report of various aspects from building damage, wear and tear, appearance of the security officers and all other aspects.The report is then evaluated by the senior manager and short-term procedures can be put into place if need be.
*A senior manager will visit the site once a week to monitor the efficiency, uphold performance standards and retrain officers when needed further ensuring that our services continuously improve.
*The operations director will visit the site and meet with the client on a monthly basis.
*A monthly report will be issued to you, the client. This will keep you up to date with any changes and improvements made by us. The report will also include any incidents that may have occurred as well as any suggestions for increasing the security effectiveness on your site.
*All management and directors will be available 24 hours a day. This ensures that depending on the degree of problem, the client is always able to contact the relevant person thus resulting in decisions and actions being performed immediately.
*We will have a number of officers on stand-by, specifically for your site should an officer need to be replaced on your site. In addition, we also have relief officers available.
