Looking back at MTE’s involvement in the Pointe Noire Gold project in Congo-Brazzaville.

Working alongside our Greenland-based client, MTE’s geology, mining and engineering teams supported the advancement of prospective gold assets through exploration planning, geological assessments, resource evaluation, site planning and operational readiness.

The project also saw MTE’s processing team begin early-stage design and engineering for a processing facility tailored to the geological and metallurgical characteristics of the project areas.

A project that highlights the value of bringing geology, mining, processing and operational thinking together from the early stages of development.

You might spot him standing beneath a tree at Avalon14, but he’s there for an important reason.

Mr. Paul serves as a daily reminder to everyone on site that safety comes first.

Wear the correct PPE. Look out for yourself. Look out for the person working beside you. And never let getting the job done become more important than getting it done safely.

As our operation in Zim continues to develop, there will be plenty of milestones to celebrate - but protecting the people behind that progress remains one of our highest priorities.
