Mbenas Electrotechnical (Pty) Ltd is entering an important phase of growth, with Vision 2030 focused on transforming the company from a growing electrical engineering business into a well-established, fully equipped engineering and infrastructure company.
Our long-term ambition is to build a strong and sustainable business that has the facilities, equipment, people, technology and financial capacity required to undertake larger and more complex projects.
Our Vision for 2030
By 2030, Mbenas Electrotechnical aims to establish its own modern workshop, professional office facilities and company fleet, creating a permanent operational base from which the business can expand its services and project capacity.
Our key goals include:
- Own Workshop: Establish a fully equipped electrical engineering and fabrication workshop for equipment preparation, panel building, repairs, testing, storage and project manufacturing.
- Own Office Building: Develop or acquire a professional company headquarters that accommodates management, engineering, administration, finance, procurement, project management and technical teams.
- Company Fleet: Build a reliable fleet of company-owned vehicles, service vehicles, trucks and specialised equipment to support projects across different regions.
- Equipment & Technology: Invest in modern electrical testing equipment, tools, machinery, technology and digital systems to improve productivity, quality and safety.
- Human Capital: Develop a skilled workforce of electrical technicians, artisans, engineers, project managers, supervisors and support personnel.
- Larger Projects: Progressively increase our capacity to participate in medium and large-scale electrical engineering, construction and infrastructure projects.
- Geographical Expansion: Expand our operational footprint beyond our current market and establish Mbenas Electrotechnical as a company capable of delivering projects across South Africa and, ultimately, the African continent.
- Strong Financial Foundation: Grow responsibly by improving cash flow, profitability, asset ownership and reinvestment into the business.
- Quality and Compliance: Build a strong culture of professional engineering, quality assurance, occupational health and safety, environmental responsibility and regulatory compliance.
