Shipping container insulation, whether applied to the inside or to the outside or to the top or to the underside, Ecofoam has it covered with spray polyurethane foam. It not only provides thermal protection but is applied seamlessly (with no gaps or joints) and eliminates condensation build up on the surfaces. Spray foam does not promote mould growth nor does it sag or shrink over its lifespan of +80 years.

It should be noted that external applications with direct exposure to sunlight will need to be protected with a UV-resistant coating or lining.

Instead of removing the asbestos cement roof, the client opted for Ecofoam to prime the hazardous material with an asbestos cement sealer, insulate it with 50mm of spray foam and then finish off with two coats of premium acrylic paint. The work was undertaken in Port Elizabeth.
