P G Con cc PG Con is family owned business offering block gravity retaining wall and gabion basket solutions to the general construction industry.

One of the largest retaining wall projects ever undertaken in South Africa was completed in November 2013 on the site of Cradlestone Mall, a new shopping centre which was constructed for the Sasol Pension Fund by Aveng Grinaker – LTA. Designed as gravity retaining walls by Silvio Ferraris, CEO of concrete retaining block (CRB) manufacturer and CMA member, ReMaCon Products, the walls were built on

the site which is situated between the N14 highway and Hendrik Potgieter Drive in Muldersdrift. Just under 2 000m of walls were built including a perimeter wall around the entire site and several walls within the site itself. The walls were built by CMA contractor member, Friction Retaining Structures in a joint venture with Powergate Construction, working as the sub-contractor for earthworks contractor, Diesel Power and Jodan Construction.
