A real showstopper indeed… 🩷

I just had to stop and take a photo of this beautiful pink JCB. If you’ve seen her around Strand and wondered what the story behind her is, it’s far more meaningful than just standing out on a construction site.

QuickSilva did it in true QuickSilva style… they went PINK 🎀

This special fleet was created in partnership with PinkDrive to raise awareness for gender-based cancers, with a special focus on breast cancer awareness. Six machines, representing six survivors, past and present, standing as symbols of strength, courage and hope.

Because awareness is about so much more than wearing a ribbon. It’s about showing up, speaking up, creating conversations, allocating resources and driving real change where it matters most.

And that is exactly what QuickSILVAGroup set out to do, turning construction sites pink with purpose 💖

PinkDrive NPC believes that “Early Detection Will Help Prolong A Life,” focusing especially on communities without easy access to healthcare services for breast, cervical, prostate and testicular cancer screening.

Nothing is impossible when people come together for a meaningful cause

A beautiful initiative and such a powerful reminder that even big machines can carry an even bigger message.

We did it in the most QuickSilva way possible, just that we went PINK! 🎀, with a touch of BLUE 😉.

We joined forces with The Pink Drive, to raise awareness for gender based cancers, with particular emphasis on breast cancer. Six Machines, representing six survivors past and present. One powerful cause. Awareness isn't just a ribbon on a shirt; it's showing up, speaking up, allocating much-needed resources, and driving change. And that's exactly what we did. Swipe through to meet the ladies in our team, the machines, and the moment we turned Cape Town's construction sites PINK 💖.

Nothing's Impossible when we work together 💪🏽. We challenge other companies in the construction, plant hire, mobile crane hire and logistics industries to help make a difference and contribute to www.pinkdrive.org.

PinkDrive NPC, a health sector NGO, believe that “Early detection will help prolong a life.” PinkDrive’s cardinal purpose is to contribute meaningfully towards preventing as many people as it can, from succumbing to breast, cervical, prostate and testicular cancer. It’s primary focus is on citizens without access to reasonable care for these conditions, and who reside in areas where health services do not reach.
