House Berlion | Shark Bay 🧱

We’re almost at scaffolding height with the brickwork at House Berlion in Shark Bay.

Good brickwork starts with good site management. The site is kept clean and organised, with clean weep holes, swept floors and rubble cleared from inside and around the building area. Bricks and other materials are neatly stacked and positioned so the bricklayers can work efficiently without unnecessary movement or mess.

Another important detail happening as the walls go up: plumbing and electrical fittings are installed in the correct positions before the brickwork covers them, helping ensure everything is ready for the next stages.

It’s the small details behind the scenes that make a big difference to the quality and progress of a build.

House Berlion | Shark Bay 🌊

Another major milestone reached at House Berlion in Shark Bay.

The foundation brickwork is complete, with the area backfilled, compacted and levelled. A 250-micron plastic layer was installed, followed by 30mm insulation.

Ref 193 mesh reinforcement is now in place, with all electrical and plumbing services installed between the mesh and insulation.

Everything is now in place for the final preparation before casting. The slab area will be thoroughly cleaned and checked to ensure it is ready for the concrete pour.

Then it’s time to bring in the concrete. 🏗️

🏖️ HOUSE SARAI | 17 MAIN ROAD

A new project is officially underway! 🌊🏡

We’re excited to have started work on House Sarai, a beautiful beachfront property at 17 Main Road.

The first stage has begun with the professional removal of asbestos, with the necessary AIA approval and documentation in place to ensure the work is carried out safely and correctly.

We’ve also started with the demolition of the existing house, clearing the way for the next chapter of this exciting project.

There’s a lot to come, and we’ll be sharing the progress along the way.

🏗️ House Berlion – Foundation Casting Day

Today marked another important milestone at House Berlion in Shark Bay as we cast the strip footings.

Using a concrete pump, the concrete was placed quickly and accurately into the excavated footings.
Each section was thoroughly vibrated to remove trapped air and ensure maximum strength before being carefully levelled to the correct height.

A strong foundation doesn't happen by chance—it's the result of proper planning, quality materials, the right equipment, and skilled workmanship.

This is where a home's strength begins.
