Workshop Stock Controller (Junior Position)
About the Position
Annik Pack-Line Engineering is looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our growing team as a Workshop Stock Controller. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment and has a passion for keeping stock organised and accurate.
Minimum Requirements
*Valid South African Driver's Licence
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering workshop
*Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
*Previous stock control or inventory management experience will be advantageous
*Knowledge of engineering tools, steel, consumables, and workshop materials will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
*Receive, inspect, and issue workshop stock and consumables
*Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
*Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts
*Monitor minimum stock levels and report shortages
*Order stock in conjunction with management when required
*Ensure the workshop store is neat, organised, and secure
*Label and identify stock correctly
*Liaise with suppliers and workshop personnel regarding stock requirements
*Assist with goods receiving and delivery documentation
*Ensure compliance with company stock control procedures
