๐Ÿค–๐Ÿš€ The West Rand Robotics League has officially launched!

Hosted at Curro Krugersdorp, the first West Rand Robotics League brought together 5 schools for a day of coding, robotics, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Learners worked through challenges, applied their coding skills, and had the opportunity to learn from one another. For many of them, it was their first robotics league experience, making the day even more special.

We are incredibly excited about what lies ahead. This is just the beginning of a growing robotics community in the West Rand, and we can't wait to see more schools and learners get involved.

For Bianca Wolmarans from Laerskool Louis Leipoldt Leipies, it all started the first time she opened a robotics kit and began building. That moment sparked something in her, and now, 5 years later, she is helping her learners experience that same excitement in the classroom.

From coding and practical builds to teamwork, problem-solving and competitions, Bianca has created a space where learners can explore, make mistakes, try again and grow in confidence.

Big things are being built in Hillbrow. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค–

Rajesh visited the launch of the new Digital Learning Centre at MES Early Childhood Development Centre Dinaledi** for the Jozi My Jozi event, a space created to give young learners access to coding, robotics and digital skills.

Every corner of the room had something exciting happening, from LEGOยฎ Education Science and Resolute kits to Micro:bit, Computer Science & AI, and the new Tinker Board.

Meet Thabo Mokau from Laerskool Tuinrand ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค–

As a Grade 3โ€“7 Coding & Robotics teacher, Thabo brings so much energy, creativity and passion into the classroom.

From mini-challenges to hands-on problem-solving, he is helping learners explore STEM, build confidence, work in teams and see technology as a space where their imagination can come alive.
