Automation Science Solutions is a company dedicated to providing high-quality technical support services for the food industry. Our technicians are highly trained in Metal detectors, x-ray machines and printers (CIJ, TTO and Laser for date coding) in the food industry environment. We offer new machinery as well as 24-hour technical support service to ensure that our clients' plants never have to stand idle. Our office is located in Meadowdale, Johannesburg. Job Description
This is a full-time role, the field service technician will be responsible for visiting clients on-site, troubleshooting technical issues, repairing, wiring, and maintaining metal detectors, checkweighers, x ray machines and printers, performing calibrations, validations and reports when needed.
Requirements/Qualifications
• Electrical degree/diploma/qualification with mechanical experience is imperative.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in customer service and technical support.
• Ability to provide on-call support as needed.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Experience with networking and computer systems is a plus.
• Experience in the industry is a plus.
