ROUTINGS
JOINING FROM THE WEST (WITBANK)
Route along the N4 East bound from Witbank to the intersection N4/R35. Call ATC 127.95 for joining instructions. The initial routing from the intersection will be north bound along the N11 to FAMB or otherwise instructed by ATC.
JOINING FROM THE SOUTH
Route north bound either along the R35 or N11.
If joining via the R35 (North bound) route to the intersection R35/N4 and call ATC for joining instructions.
JOINING FROM THE EAST (BELFAST)
Route along the N4 West bound from Belfast to the intersection N4/N11.
Call ATC at the intersection for joining instructions. The routing from the intersection will be north bound along the N11 to FAMB or otherwise instructed by ATC.
JOINING FROM THE NORTH (LOSKOPDAM)
Call FAMB ATC at Loskop dam for routing instruction.
REMEMBER
Call FAMB tower (127.95) 10Nmâs inbound advise FAJS Info North (127.4) when you will be calling FAMB tower.
Expect to join overhead (2000 AGL or 7000ACT) or otherwise as instructed by ATC.
Circuit altitude : 6500 ALT (1500 AGL)
Circuit direction : All to the south or RWY 14/32
RWY 14 : Right hand circuit
RWY 32 : Left hand circuit
If required the gravel runway 02/20 is available and subject to ATC instructions.
After landing ATC will hand you over to ground (120.2 ) and marshals will direct you to your parking depending on your mission i.e. day visitor, camping aircraft, display aircraft.
Helicopter parking will be on the taxi way in front of the northern side hangars. Helicopters to approach the parking area from to north.

RCF PROCEDURES
1. SQUAWK 7600.
2. Join overhead 2500ft AGL (7500 ALT) on last known QNH. Remember circuit ALT is 1500ft AGL and aircraft joining overhead at 2000ft AGL.
3. Switch all light on to attract attention and look out for other traffic.
4. Circuit direction for RWY 02/20 is to the East.
RWY 02 : Right hand circuit
RWY 20 : Left hand circuit
5. Execute a full stop landing and contact ATC.
Note: You can also contact the Chief Marshal Jock Nel on his cell. He will be in radio contact with ATC and can assist.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Aerobatic activities will take place between 4Nmâs and 5Nmâs to the North East of the field in a 1Nm block up to 9000 ft.
All qualified pilots doing aerobatics in this area will communicate with FAJS Info North prior to block operation and on completion of block operation.
