JW Hugo Construction Gauteng proudly showcases the Highlands Corner project, a newly built commercial and retail project in the heart of Johannesburg. Our team not only met the expectations of all the project stakeholders but also that of the local community. By working closely with the Community Liaison, site stoppages on a project located in a heavily vigilant local community were successfully averted through detailed planning and effective communication. Public safety was a key priority, as the site is located next to a very busy taxi rank. We thank Jandre van den Berg (Construction Manager), Tumi Khumalo (Site Manager), Bongani Masina (Foreman), Erik Pretorius (QS), Malusi Qhakaza (Safety Officer), Thoko Semedi (Site Clerk) for the time and expertise they brought to the project and the local community. You not only successfully reached Practical Completion within time, budget, and to the highest quality, but can also be extremely proud of the legacy of upskilling local SMME’s you've left behind.
