From a one-man business to a global player in Austria: it all began in the market town of Pettenbach, where company founder Gรผnter Fronius earned a living as a repair and maintenance man in 1945. Then came the idea that got the ball rolling: the trained electrical engineer developed a battery charger for cars. โIโll build you a device that you can connect to the grid to charge the battery,โ said Gรผnter Fronius.
