Defence procurement can create value long after a platform has been delivered, but only if some of the capability remains in-country.
Our portable production model is built around moving manufacturing, assembly, integration and lifecycle support closer to the end user. That can include training and certifying local engineers and technicians, developing supply-chain participation and building greater national control over how equipment is produced and sustained.
The objective is not simply localisation for its own sake. It is to create practical industrial capability, resilience and skills that can continue to support the programme over its life. Explore how portable production can support localisation, skills transfer and sovereign sustainment.
