Over the course of September, our access equipment was on site supporting the installation of a new robotic system, helping the team work safely and efficiently as the project took shape.

The installation ran smoothly and stayed on schedule throughout, with this first phase opening the door to potential future expansion of the system.

Another job wrapped up at Red Metal Mining Manufacturing. Our team recently supported the replacement of the warehouse lighting, providing safe and reliable access to get the work completed efficiently in just two days.

It’s a relatively simple job, but a good example of where the right access equipment can make all the difference, helping teams reach what they need to, work safely, and keep downtime to a minimum.

We’re proud to have been part of the Mondi Richards Bay Power Boiler 4 (PB4) Project since April 2024, supporting one of South Africa’s largest energy and sustainability upgrades.

Our fleet on site has included:

- 2 × SX180 (56m) boom lifts (still on hire)
- ⁠*1 × SX150 (48m) boom lift
- ⁠Boom lifts ranging from 15m to 56m
- ⁠12m diesel scissor lift
- ⁠1 Telehandler
- ⁠1 × 7T forklift

The PB4 project will enhance energy efficiency, increase steam generation, reduce emissions, and support Mondi’s long-term decarbonisation strategy through the greater use of renewable biomass.

We’re proud to play a role in powering safer, more sustainable industrial projects with reliable access equipment and on-site support.

We assisted our client in Durban Harbour to decommission large gantry cranes with various machines ranging from Z60RT, S60J, Z62RT and our biggest unit, the SX180.

A historic first of its kind to be carried out in South Africa.

Big shows don’t come together overnight.

Our Midrand team recently supported a setup at the Sandton Convention Centre, helping crews get everything in place for the event, from lighting and audio to the set décor that brings the whole experience to life.

The rental may have only been four days, but behind those few days is a fast-paced setup window where timing, coordination, and safe access matter.

Always good seeing our machines play a small part in bringing big productions together.
