Thank you, Mining Indaba 2026. This year’s conversations showed clear alignment across the sector around three pillars that will define mining’s next phase: interoperability, energy efficiency and responsible AI.

Across the week, several practical insights stood out:

• Open, interoperable data reduces blind spots and gives teams the visibility they need to act with confidence.
• BEV planning paired with mine to mill efficiency delivers measurable improvements in energy intensity, throughput and reliability.
• Responsible AI — transparent, secure and supported by strong change management — is gaining momentum as mines look for tools they can trust in real operations.
• And perhaps the strongest theme of all: clean data, defined KPIs and equipped teams remain the foundation for every innovation that follows

Mining Indaba reminded us that progress doesn’t start with complexity — it starts with strong basics and disciplined ex*****on. We look forward to building on these conversations throughout the year as the industry continues its journey toward safer, more efficient and more sustainable operations.

Our CEO, Sabine Dall’Omo, is on stage at Mining Indaba 2026 for the panel “AI in Mining – Separating the Hype from Reality.”

She brings a perspective grounded in practical, people-centric and digital transformation:
🔹 Interoperability – connecting fleets, plants and energy systems to strengthen visibility, safety and decision-making
🔹 Trusted, explainable AI – engineering‑led technology teams can rely on in real operational environments
🔹 Energy optimization – from BEV planning through to mine‑to‑mill efficiency
🔹 Clean, contextualized data – the foundation for meaningful analytics and automation
🔹 Capability building – because modern tools only deliver value when people are empowered to use them

We’re looking forward to an insightful conversation that puts practicality, safety and long‑term performance at the forefront of mining’s digital future.

We’re proud to be contributing to a key conversation at the Mining Indaba 2026, where our CEO, Sabine Dall'Omo will join a panel focused on the practical realities of deploying AI, data and automation in mining.

Our message going into the discussion is clear:

• Useful AI is explainable, trusted and transparent
• Connected, interoperable systems unlock safety, reliability and throughput gains
• Clean data and clear governance are non-negotiable foundations
• People remain central — technology only drives performance when teams are equipped to use it
• Energy and efficiency planning must be integrated into the entire value chain

We’ll be sharing insights on bridging OT + IT, applying AI responsibly, and designing mine systems that are ready for autonomy, electrification and digital transformation.

Looking forward to constructive, solutions driven discussions with partners across the industry.
