*Quality Paving Job – Vanderbijlpark*

Just finished a full paving job in Vanderbijlpark focused on durability and clean finish.

*What was done:*
1. *Groundwork & Prep*: Old surface stripped, soil compacted with a plate compactor to prevent settling. 150mm G5 base layer installed and leveled for proper drainage.
2. *Edge Restraints*: Concrete edge beams cast to lock the paving in place and stop shifting or spreading over time.
3. *Bedding Layer*: 25mm river sand screeded to exact level for a smooth, even surface.
4. *Paving Installation*: High-density concrete pavers laid in a stretcher bond pattern. All cuts were done with a brick saw for tight, clean edges around borders and drains.
5. *Finishing*: Joints brushed with dry washed sand, compacted again, and sealed to reduce w**d growth and improve color retention.

*Result*: Flat, level surface with proper fall for water runoff, no dips or wobbles, and straight lines throughout. Built to handle vehicle traffic without shifting.
