We're proud to be working with the most robust collection of genetics (3 blood lines), and one of the largest (if not THE largest) flock of Silverrudds in the country!

After our annual breeding flock selections we have 2 Double-Blue Roosters (Genetically tested), available for sale. These roosters have white soles of their feet, and one of them has eyes that are too light for our selection criteria - otherwise they are absolutely fantastic specimens. They are R640 each.

We also have 25 point of lay "culls" from the current selection group.

These hens were selected out of the group having failed on either 1 or 2 of the following criteria:
Eye colour,
Leg colour,
Sole of the foot colour,
Comb shape,
Comb size,
Weight of the bird, or
Shape of the bird.

Any of the following would have been single fault disqualifications, and would not be sold:
Split wing,
Kinked keel (breast) bone,
Crooked toes,
Scissor beak, or
Copper Leakage.

As a limited opportunity until Friday the 21st of August, we have discounted all these young hens 10% (R1152,00), should you wish to purchase hens to go with the Double Blue Roosters.
