Vehicle Recovered, 4 Suspects Apprehended. - 16 February 2024

In the East Rand area, security units were on high alert due to a wanted vehicle in Benoni. The vehicle, a white VW T-Cross with 4 occupants, was attempting to steal another vehicle. The victim provided the registration number, and the vehicle was flagged by the SNIPR ANPR system as a priority lookout. Shortly after, another ANPR camera near the border of Benoni and Boksburg detected the vehicle, leading to a pursuit. The suspects realized they were being followed and engaged in a high-speed chase through the streets of Boksburg and Jet Park. Eventually, the suspect vehicle lost its back wheel and was immobilized. All four suspects were apprehended by the units. The scene was handed over to the South African Police Service (SAPS). Kudos to the roleplayers for capturing these suspects!
