🏗️ Two Phases. One Stunning Outdoor Space.
This courtyard came to us as a broken, tired paving job that had seen better days. The client wanted something completely different a functional outdoor living space with a custom built-in bench and a bold, modern paving finish.
We split the project into two phases:
Phase 1: The Bench Build
Full demolition of the old surface, then we brick-laid, plastered and finished a solid L-shaped concrete bench built to last and perfectly integrated into the courtyard walls.
Phase 2: The Paver Installation
Large-format dark slate pavers, laid with a 100mm grout line between each one. The wide joint spacing is a deliberate design choice that gives the space a contemporary, architectural feel you just don't get with standard paving.
The result? A completely transformed outdoor area the clients can actually use and be proud of.
