Today we had the privilege of hosting engineers from National Transmission Company South Africa, Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, and VRH Power for an in-depth technical session on our Second Vibration Damper seminar for the year.

The day was packed with knowledge-sharing and collaboration, featuring:
Transmission Solutions – Presented by Yushen Govender, our Technical Sales Representative.
Understanding Vibration Phenomena – From Aeolian to galloping and their impact on overhead lines, expertly explained by Siphelele Chiliza, our Design Engineer.
Laboratory Testing – Led by Tahir Essa, our Lead Engineer.
Factory Tour – Guided by Colin Bolland, our Operations Manager.

PLP offers a variety of solutions with our products for vibration control & combating Aeolian vibration on Overhead lines for both Transmission & Distribution.

A big thank you to all our guests for making this a productive and collaborative day!

Congratulations to the winners of the 2025 Candy Stick Challenge! 👏
Held at the CIGRE Southern Africa 12th Annual Conference, our champion completed the challenge in 30.19 seconds, with the runner-up close behind at 39.20 seconds.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and showcased such great enthusiasm for our helically formed product. Your energy made the challenge success.

It was an insightful exhibition that opened doors for impactful networking and future opportunities. We look forward to building on this momentum, until next year!
