We’re thrilled to share another successful project with our clients at the Port Elizabeth Harbour! Our team was called in to assist with a critical maintenance operation on the boat hoist. Here’s what we accomplished:

✅ Replaced the hydraulic control block
✅ Reinstalled new hydraulic pipes
✅ Renewed all display units
✅ Installed new repeaters

Earlier this year, Black Rose Engineering, a division of Black Rose Umbrella Corp., proudly assisted our client with a critical counterweight fabrication project at the Port Elizabeth Harbour.

Our scope included:

Our team at Black Rose Engineering, a proud division of Black Rose Umbrella Corp., is currently on-site at the Port Elizabeth Harbour assisting our valued client with the critical maintenance of the Boat Hoist system.

As part of this project, we are:
🔩 Replacing the backing plates with high-grade 316 stainless steel for increased durability and corrosion resistance.
📐 Securing and calibrating the digital dial to ensure accurate operation.
📡 Replacing the repeaters and firmly securing them using custom backing plates to improve alignment and stability.

This ensures not only enhanced performance but also extended lifespan of the equipment in the harsh marine environment.

💡 The balance of the project is underway and further updates will be shared as the work progresses.
