This week our team bunkered 35,000L of Marine AdBlue (AUS 40) to a vessel at anchor in Algoa Bay, so it could take on the fluid without coming alongside.

Marine AdBlue keeps SCR-equipped ships compliant with international NOx emissions limits. When a vessel needs it, running short isn't an option, and that's where we come in.

We’re proud to be back at the Bunker Africa Conference for 2026.

Today marks the opening of the 2nd Annual Bunker Africa Conference, taking place from 28–30 September at the Boardwalk Hotel and International Convention Centre here in Gqeberha.

We’re especially proud to see our own Larne le Roux returning as a keynote speaker, following her participation as a keynote speaker at the inaugural conference in 2025.

With more than 19 years of experience in the bunkering and lubricants industry, Larne brings extensive hands-on knowledge of supplying reliable fuel solutions to the maritime and industrial sectors, working closely with shipping lines, fishing fleets and commercial clients.

She’ll also have the support of her colleague Ilze Blom le Roux, who joins her at the conference representing PE Fuel Distributors.

This year’s theme, “An Inclusive Energy Future: Bunkering & Renewables Growth in Gqeberha,” brings together leaders from the maritime, energy, logistics, government and investment sectors to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of bunkering, renewable energy and sustainable port development in Africa.

For PE Fuel Distributors, it’s particularly rewarding to see these important conversations taking place right here in our home city.

If you’re in the fuel or transport industry, chances are you either watched Carte Blanche last night or your office is abuzz this morning discussing its segment on adulterated fuel in South Africa.

The numbers are astounding, and the apparent scale of the problem is deeply concerning.

While the criminality surrounding adulterated fuel is reportedly costing South Africa billions in lost tax revenue, there is another potentially enormous cost: the damage that poor-quality or contaminated fuel can cause to trucks, machinery and commercial fleets across the country.

PE Fuel Distributors has opened a diesel depot at GM Industrial Park, giving businesses convenient access to quality diesel at wholesale prices right on their doorstep. Customers can benefit from flexible prepaid, 7-day, 14-day or 30-day payment terms, with a minimum invoiced volume of 1,500 litres and the flexibility to draw down fuel as needed.

What a fantastic way to celebrate the people who make what we do possible!

The teams from Engen Oil Centre PE , PE Fuel Distributors, Gas Centre and Gascor recently had the pleasure of hosting our customers for a Customer Appreciation Day at the beautiful Noordhoek Ski boat Club.

With perfect weather, cold drinks, a braai and plenty of laughs, it was a great opportunity to get away from business for a few hours and simply enjoy each other’s company.

Days like these are about more than saying thank you. They’re about recognising just how important our customers are to our businesses and strengthening the relationships that have been built over many years.

They also give us the chance to get to know one another beyond the day-to-day business relationship – to form friendships, work more closely together and better understand how we can continue to provide even greater value, service and support.
