PE Fuel Distributors is proud to support the Ndlame Municipal District in their ongoing efforts to combat the spread of foot-and-mouth disease.
To assist at the control point, we have sponsored a mobile 1000L Flowbin with a pump system, enabling the efficient dispensing of disinfectant for vehicles and equipment moving through the area. This small but practical contribution helps strengthen biosecurity measures and protect local livestock and farmers.
We stand with our agricultural community and remain committed to supporting initiatives that safeguard our region’s economy and food security.

Protecting Algoa Bay While Powering Maritime Trade

Algoa Bay sits at the intersection of two critical priorities: protecting one of South Africa’s most important marine ecosystems and supporting global maritime trade.

With ships increasingly rounding the Cape of Good Hope, the demand for marine fuel supply in our region is growing — but it must be done responsibly.

Strict environmental regulations, improved monitoring, and responsible operational practices are essential to ensure that fuel supply to vessels does not come at the expense of marine life, including the critically endangered African penguin colonies that call Algoa Bay home.

At PE Fuel Distributors, we believe maritime trade and environmental protection must go hand in hand. Responsible road tanker-to-ship bunkering provides a controlled, safety-focused alternative that prioritises both operational efficiency and environmental care.

⛽ Diesel Prices & the USA–Israel–Iran Conflict: What South Africans Should Expect

Escalating tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran are beginning to ripple through global oil markets — and South Africa is unlikely to escape the impact.

With critical shipping routes like the Strait of Hormuz under pressure, global oil prices could become increasingly volatile. For South Africans, that could translate into higher diesel and petrol prices, rising transport costs, and broader inflation across the economy.

Industries that rely heavily on diesel — logistics, agriculture, mining, and manufacturing — should keep a close eye on global developments as they can quickly influence local fuel prices.

At PE Fuel Distributors, we monitor international fuel markets closely to ensure reliable supply and responsible distribution to our customers.
