June has arrived. And we are carrying some serious momentum from May.
We delivered a left-hand and right-hand cutting tool set to one of our multinational automotive clients. Mirrored geometry, mirrored precision, and a small team that gave everything to get both across the line.
The old design kept breaking because the whole tool was hardened through. Tough problem to solve.
We split the design and we split the materials deliberately.
K600 for the body. A cold work tool steel built for toughness, designed to absorb shock and stamping loads without cracking.
K340 for the cutting segments. A high-performance steel hardened to 58 HRC that holds a sharp cutting edge far longer. And when a segment eventually wears, you replace the segment. Not the whole tool.
The hard part? Every segment is machined on a curve. No flat surfaces anywhere. Pre-machined, hardened, then final machined to tolerance on pure curved geometry.
Long hours. No shortcuts. Standard held on both hands.
Client had the idea. We made it real. The team made it possible.
