📍 *GAS SAFETY TIPS*

After receiving numerous calls the past month for gas related incidents we have decided to share some gas safety tips.

1. *Ensure proper installation*: Hire a qualified technician to install gas appliances and cylinders.
2. *Regular maintenance*: Regularly inspect and maintain gas appliances, cylinders, and pipes.
3. *Use approved appliances*: Only use gas appliances approved by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).
4. *Store cylinders safely*: Store gas cylinders in well-ventilated areas, away from heat sources and flammable materials.

Specific Safety Measures
1. *Check for leaks*: Regularly check for gas leaks, especially after installation or maintenance.
2. *Use correct regulators*: Ensure the correct regulator is used for the specific gas cylinder and appliance.

*THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLES*

ℹ️ *Tips to help prevent motor vehicle theft in the Sinoville Precinct:*

*Install an Alarm System:* Equip your vehicle with a reliable alarm system that includes motion detectors and a loud siren. This can act as a deterrent to potential thieves.
