RESEDENTIAL PROJECT:

This customer relocated from Gauteng and permanently moved into their holiday home in Port Alfred. As part of a total , they decided to equip their home with a PV system to give them security in the event of . The existing loads were split up into essential and non-essential groups of which the latter only benefits from solar energy if both excess energy and the grid are available. The essential loads have the benefit of backup should a utility outage occur for whatever reason.

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:
8.64kWp PV system supplying a single-phase domestic residence comprising of the following solar components:
2x Sunsynk 5kW hybrid inverter
1x Freedom Won 10kWh LiFePO4 Battery
16x 540Wp JA Solar monocrystalline PV modules
1x Custom built 4x 12 Way Solar AC/DC distribution board complete with switchgear, AC & DC surge, and fuse protection
