Western Cape feeling the dry spell
June and July turned out much drier than expected, hitting wild flowers, grazing lands, and crops in the Western Cape.
Even though the dams are still in decent shape, the dry spell is showing up in stressed veld and lower pasture productivity.
Keep an eye on moisture levels and consider supplementary feed if grazing starts to thin.
