We’re proud to share another successful installation for one of our valued clients. We designed a specialized industrial process extraction system for our client’s production line.

In addition to this, we delivered a full HVAC installation across the entire site, which includes a range of facilities such as office blocks, ablutions, utility areas, workshops, flammable stores, and control rooms.

DLV Engineers successfully designed and developed a unique pump abstraction and re-insertion hoist system for water removal from underground workings.

The operation included hoisting two submersible pumps into a limited access space. Each pump is connected to a 350mm HDPE delivery pipe bolted together in 9 meter sections.

To overcome the challenge of using traditional stainless steel rope for the hoist system we introduced a woven HMPE rope solution that is lightweight, easy to handle, readily available, and highly resistant to the harsh acidic environment. By running the rope over two sn**ch blocks and through two sheeve wheels, the tension in the rope could be limited to the minimum, increasing the safety factor to a very conservative level.
