Yesterday, our President had the honour of joining the National Department of Human Settlements during the handover of a home donated by the Collen Mashawane Foundation to a family who tragically lost theirs to a fire. 💛

The house was built using Alternative Building Technology (ABT) provided by Steelworld the same innovative company we recently partnered with in KwaZulu-Natal.

This partnership demonstrates SAWIC & BE’s readiness to embrace Innovative Building Technologies (IBT) a crucial step in addressing the urgent need for Temporary Residential Units (TRUs), especially in provinces frequently affected by natural disasters such as KZN and the Eastern Cape.

Together, we are driving innovation, resilience, and compassion in the built environment one home, one family, one community at a time. 🏡✨
