Life Landscapes Pretoria at the Aloe Festival

The Life Landscapes Pretoria team recently attended the Aloe Festival at The Aloe Farm to explore aloe varieties used in our landscaping sites, observe current trends, and gain insight into new species and applications that can be incorporated into future projects.

As aloes are part of our site plant palette, engagements like these help the team stay informed on suitable varieties, performance, and evolving landscape applications.

Thank you to The Aloe Farm for hosting the event.

Happy Father's Day

Today, we celebrate the fathers and father figures whose guidance, dedication, and support make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around them.
Whether at home, in the workplace, or within the communities we serve, fathers play an important role in shaping future generations through their leadership, encouragement, and commitment.

At Life Green Group, we recognise and appreciate the positive impact that fathers and father figures have every day. Their influence extends far beyond their responsibilities, helping to build stronger families, stronger teams, and stronger communities.

To all the fathers, mentors, and role models, thank you for the role you play and the example you set.

Wishing you a Happy Father's Day.

World Pollinator Week | 15–21 June 2026

This year's World Pollinator Week theme, "Life on a Leaf: Celebrating Caterpillars and Host Plants," shines a spotlight on an important part of the pollinator life cycle that often goes unnoticed.

Before butterflies become pollinators, they begin life as caterpillars, relying on specific host plants for food and survival. These plants provide the foundation for future generations of pollinators, highlighting the important connection between healthy habitats, biodiversity, and thriving ecosystems.

This World Pollinator Week, consider how your outdoor spaces can help support pollinators at every stage of their journey.
🌱 Plant indigenous species that provide food and shelter for pollinators and their larvae.
🐛 Protect host plants that support caterpillars as they grow and develop.
🦋 Create and maintain green spaces where pollinators can thrive.

By protecting the smallest members of the ecosystem today, we help support a healthier and more biodiverse tomorrow. Read more here https://www.lifegreengroup.co.za/life-green-group-2/world-pollinator-week-2026-caterpillars-and-host-plants/

This World Environment Day, we recognise that caring for the environment starts with practical action.

Through proactive dam maintenance and vegetation management at Cedar Creek Estate, the Johannesburg Landscapes Maintenance team is helping to reduce fire risks, manage overgrowth, and maintain a healthier environment around the water body.

Aligned with this year’s theme, “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future,” environmental stewardship is reflected in the practical work carried out every day to care for and protect our outdoor spaces.

Take action. Every well-managed environment starts with consistent care.

The Johannesburg Landscapes Maintenance team recently refreshed one of the landscape focal points at Hollard by replacing the previous seasonal plants with vibrant winter-flowering pansies in shades of purple. The client requested the colour selection to align with their brand identity.

Positioned at the site entrance, this focal landscape area creates a welcoming first impression while complementing the existing Hollard feature within the garden.

Seasonal plant changes form part of keeping landscapes fresh, visually appealing, and aligned with each client’s environment throughout the year.

At Life Landscapes, attention to detail and understanding client requirements remain at the centre of every maintenance project.

Looking to enhance your outdoor spaces with tailored landscaping maintenance? The Life Landscapes team is ready to assist. https://www.lifegreengroup.co.za/life-landscapes/maintenance/
