PICM Randfontein (Pty) Ltd – is looking for a Quality Controller.
Role Description: This is a full-time on-site QC position for PICM (Randfontein) (Pty) Ltd on Rustenburg Mines.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12.
• Must reside in the Rustenburg area
• Tertiary Qualification in Quality Control – Steel & Civil Construction
• Minimum 10 Years experience
• Own transport – Travel to Randfontein HQ once a week.
• Medically fit for Anglo Mines
• No criminal record (MIE Verification on certification / criminal screening)
Skills Required:
• Excellent Negotiation Skills
• Excellent Computer literacy – Sage Pastel, Word and Excel (Order creation, Reports)
• Knowledge of processes and equipment within the Construction/Engineering Industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent planning and organisation skills
• Technically orientated, able to grasp technical concepts quickly
• Great attention to detail
• Analytical thinking skills
Job Description:
• Inspecting materials
• Testing materials & products to meet client specifications
• Monitor production processes to ensure they meet the standards and requirements
• Identify defects in products and materials
• Report inspection and test data.
• Recommending adjustments
• Documenting findings according to client specifications
• Reviewing maintenance records on equipment used for quality inspection
• Quality audits
