Yandisa Tony's Construction - Pty Ltd Yandisa Tony’s Construction (Pty) Ltd was originally founded in November 1995 as a close corporation known as Tony Marreiros Construction CC.

It was started by Tony Marreiros who was later joined by Kersten Venter as an equal partner. The business started as a small construction company specialising in a wide range of construction and manufacturing, general engineering, piping, maintenance, professional rigging, labour hire and ship repairs. It grew from a company that employed less than 25 employees to its current workforce of more tha

n one hundred and fifty. The two partners has more than forty years of combined experience in heavy industrial engineering, and have both worked on major projects in Kwazulu Natal and the whole of South Africa. The company is well known in the region for its expertise in specialised and complex rigging. Tony’s Construction’s main clients are blue chip companies around Umhlathuze, which includes RBM, Hillside, Bayside, National Ports Authority and Foskor. Due to the need to reflect the demographics of the region, Tony’s Construction diluted its shareholding by selling 51% ownership to black partners. This led to the founding of Yandisa Tony’s Construction (Pty) Ltd in 2005.
