Did a ramp run with the shop van, just to verify if there were any divits in the curve, none, so super impressed with the curve and how smooth the pick up is.

With the fuel price going the way it is, we decided to have another look at what we could do in the software, especially as the shop bakkie sees 60km of mixed driving and traffic a day to the academy and back.

We punched the keyboard and fitted the egt gauge and loaded the tune.

We checked the economy, 17.8km per litre which is brilliant, considering stock is 13 km per liter.

We have reached the limits of any gains as this would just create more engine heat as getting close to MBT and knock threshold.

So one of the projects underway is Ron's baby Pajero.

We have machined the block to accept specific pistons for the application.
When time allows I am busy porting and flow testing the cylinder head and working on the software for the engine control.............
We have sourced extended tip Bosch injectors to replace the denso ones........

So an update on Gina, our delivery vehicle, after a lot of combined driving cycles including daily traffic over the past 3 months the data is in.....
5,1L per 100km, according to publications their road tests got 7,5L per 100km in the combined cycle.
