The word of the day is Resilience.
During the course of this full home renovation, we were faced with a major setback.
With just about 2 weeks to completion, we were in the face of adversity when Aadil was shot on his way home from site one evening.
You can imagine the impact this had on the company as a whole, and the completion of this job. We were faced with immense stress, especially since he spent a week in hospital, the whole ordeal setting us back by another 2 weeks.
Alas, we were blessed to have a devoted team who worked tirelessly to get the job done. We saw this job through (even though past deadline) and delivered a completely renovated home to our dear clients (who also showed great understanding and sympathy through it all)
During this time we learned that a setback is literally just that - A SET Back, it was not our final destination. The final destination was delayed but not forgotten.
Through it all, our team showed great Resilience and team work. With Aadil showing up on site daily, on crutches and most times heavily medicated, he emphasised the importance of bouncing back and rising above our trials, which made it so much easier for the team to follow suit.
