Dutton Motors was established in 1956 under sole ownership of Mr. Peter and Bob Dutton. Bob Dutton was still involved until August 2012. On 15 August 2012 the shareholding of Dutton Volkswagen changed hands to Mr. Selwyn and Rory Plitt. They are very experienced in the motor trade industry
with a very successful business in Vereeniging operating in their family as Vereeniging Auto (Motors) since the 1940's.
