Don't you want a real team on your team?
We pressed pause on production for a few hours last Friday… and no, the world didn’t end 😉
Instead, the Renlaw team had a proper team building afternoon - with plenty of laughs, a (large) bit of competitive spirit, and some seriously lekker rotis keeping everyone going.
The mission: To build the tallest free-standing tower using marshmallows and spaghetti.
The process: ingenious.
The results: hilarious!
Here’s the thing: in big companies, team building is often the first thing to get cut when things get busy. But that's a recipe for disatster. When people actually enjoy working together, communication gets easier, problems get solved faster, and the day-to-day just runs better.
At Renlaw, how we work together matters is directly visible in what we produce. It’s a big part of why so many of our team have been here for the long haul, over 10 years for many, over 20 for two, and 5+ years for most.
Turns out, when people feel like they’re part of something solid, they tend to stick around.
