Building new connections across borders

Agri Technovation recently welcomed Isaosa from Mexico to South Africa, marking an exciting step in a developing relationship between our teams.

The visit included time at BJ Blyde in Hoedspruit, where the teams moved through commercial citrus orchards and exchanged technical insight around lemons, flowering Star Ruby grapefruit, Delta Valencias and post-harvest Midnights.

Discussions centred on flowering and pre-bloom applications, reproductive physiology, soil treatments and the management strategies used to support tree response throughout key stages of citrus production.

More than an orchard visit, it was an opportunity to share knowledge, compare approaches across two important citrus-producing regions and build the technical foundation for a new relationship with Isaosa.

We look forward to where this collaboration takes us next.

Almond blossom in the Northern Cape

Thirty hectares of Soleta almonds are coming into bloom near Hopetown, marking an important stage in the development of this orchard.

After incorporating selected Agri Technovation products last season, the programme has been expanded this year to include Nutricast and targeted foliar nutrition with Zinc Phloem™, Agrobor™, Flower Power™ and Agri Technovation’s reproductive physiology technology, supporting the crop through flowering and reproductive development.

With blossom setting the stage for the crop to come, targeted nutrition and physiological support during these key phenological stages form an important part of managing orchard performance and reproductive potential.

Four days immersed in citrus.

The 13th Citrus Research Symposium brought together growers, researchers, technical specialists and industry partners around the research and developments shaping southern African citrus production.

For Agri Technovation, it was an opportunity to listen, learn and engage with the industry, while sharing the stand with our valued partners at Laeveld Agrochem.

From technical discussions to conversations with growers and industry leaders, including a welcome visit from South Africa’s Minister of Agriculture, the symposium reinforced the value of bringing research, practical agronomy and industry experience into the same room.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, shared their insights and contributed to four valuable days in the Drakensberg.

We leave with new knowledge, stronger connections and plenty to take back into the field.

New ground in Delareyville.

Agri Technovation’s In-Furrow Roadshow continued through the North West and Free State, with the latest stop bringing producers together in the Excelsior region, north-west of Delareyville.

Together with our valued partners at Laeveld Agrochem, the day focused on the science and technology behind more informed in-furrow decisions. Discussions covered soil profile pits, MYSOIL CLASSIFICATION™, Data Mining, Nutricast, in-furrow solutions and one of Agri Technovation’s reproductive physiology technologies, supported by practical insight into their application in row crop production.

The Excelsior region represents an exciting area of growth for Agri Technovation and Laeveld Agrochem, and the opportunity to engage with new producers around practical, science-led agronomy is an important part of establishing a strong presence in the region.

A special thank you to our Laeveld Agrochem agents for their continued support and the work they do with us alongside producers on the ground, as well as Heinz, Hestia, Ben and Renier Meyer from Victus Bio for their contribution to the day.

Agri Technovation at CRI Symposium 2026

Agri Technovation is proud to be part of the 13th Citrus Research Symposium, alongside our valued partners at Laeveld Agrochem .

The symposium brings the southern African citrus industry together around the latest research, developments and challenges influencing commercial citrus production.

Our teams have enjoyed welcoming growers, researchers and industry partners to the stand, sharing valuable conversations and strengthening the relationships that keep us closely connected to the industry we serve. We were also pleased to welcome the South African Minister of Agriculture, Willie Aucamp, to our stand during the symposium.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by so far. We’re proud to be here together with Laeveld Agrochem and look forward to the conversations still to come.

The future of row crop production starts in the furrow.

The Agri Technovation In-Furrow Roadshow continued through Ermelo and Makoppa, bringing growers together to explore how precision agriculture, plant nutrition, biological solutions and data-driven insights work together to support stronger row crop performance.

The roadshow highlighted the value of START Technovation, integrating MYSOIL CLASSIFICATION™, ITEST™ SOIL, Data Mining, RXN inoculants, and SET Technovation’s blended formulation supporting reproductive phenology to better understand field variability and support more informed management decisions throughout the season.

By combining scientific insight with practical agronomy, growers are equipped with the information needed to optimise inputs, improve crop performance and unlock the potential of every hectare.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Ermelo and Makoppa, and particularly to the Laeveld Agroc

Supporting stronger pasture production in Zambia

In Mkushi, a pasture under irrigation is being supported with Dr Grain and Kickstart as part of a programme designed to promote vigorous growth, improve stand development, and maximise forage production throughout the season.

Every application is an investment in stronger pastures, improved productivity, and more resilient farming systems.
