ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change is the Earth's warming trend, caused by human emitted greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, that traps heat in the atmosphere.

Causes:
The main conduct is the emission of greenhouse gases, especially carbon dioxide and methane, from burning fossil fuels, manufacturing, deforestation, transportation, and agriculture.

What are the Effects?

_Rising Temperatures_
Leads to extreme heat waves, making some areas harder to live in and increasing health risks.

What Can Be Done?

~Reduce Emissions:~
Transition from fossil fuels to clean, renewable energy sources like solar and wind.

~Nature-Based Solutions:~
Protect and restore forests and other natural ecosystems that absorb carbon dioxide.

~Conscious Consumption:~
Reduce consumption and waste, and choose more sustainable food and transportation options.

~Government Action:~
Urge governments to take ambitious climate action and implement policies to reduce emissions, such as those outlined in the Paris Agreement.

NOTE✍🏻: Climate change is not a distant threat it’s already shaping the lives of our most vulnerable. Children, who have contributed the least to the crisis, are bearing its harshest impacts. From cyclones to heatwaves, nearly every child alive today will face at least one severe climate shock each year, threatening their health, safety, and future. Urgent climate action is essential to protect the next generation. 💪🏼
