15MCC- Mulyashi Copper Mine is located within the Greater Roan basin Area of Zambia ,Copperbelt. The mine is a modern, world class facility with fully mechanized Open Pit operations. Mulyashi Open Pit Mine is owned by Luanshya Copper Mines (CNMC) .
The Plant infrastructure consists of a Mine Garage, Administration Block and Open Pit infrastructure. The Company requires the services of qualified and motivated persons to fill the position of Procurement Officer (2)
Sourcing and procurement of goods, works and services in accordance with good procurement practices and laid down procedures and guidelines.
Preparation of solicitation documents and making inquiries for goods, works and services and Preparation procurement documentation.
Contract management and expediting of orders to ensure timely delivery and processing of payments.
Maintenance of sound Procurement records/documentation and preparation of procurement status reports.
Ensure materials and services supplied meet established standards, survey markets for latest trends in prices, availability, delivery and quality,
Ensure that applicable policies, practices and procedures are understood and complied by suppliers.
Monitor and report on supplier performance, noting current and/or potential issues and/or inefficiencies.
Assess all vendors/suppliers and ensure that they meet the minimum requirements to be on the suppliers list.
Requirements
Full Grade Twelve Certificate with credits or better in English and Mathematics
Degree/Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply , Member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS). Minimum of 3 years work experience in procurement, Proficient in MS Excel/Word/ Power Point and proper understanding of spreadsheets

The armed security officer is responsible for providing security and protection to the public, employees, visitors and property. This includes assisting in patrolling buildings, building entrances, parking lots, etc. as well as performing other duties assigned by management or supervisory staff.
Detailed job duties include:
Assist in the security of buildings, public areas and other locations.
Ensure that all personnel are properly trained to perform their duties as well as comply with company policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality regarding information provided by clients or employees.
Respond to emergency situations on an ongoing basis including but not limited solely to: fire, theft, criminal activity, etc.
Report any suspicious activity to appropriate authorities within the assigned area.
Report any incidents/accidents immediately upon request for assistance from supervisory staff (either directly or through direct supervision).
Qualification
Must be at least 25 years of age
Ability to use a fire arm competently and licensed
No criminal record
Strong organizational skills including good time management abilities
Able to work independently without direct supervision
Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills and be physically strong
