Poseidon Construction Company is looking to engage suitable candidates for the positions listed below that have fallen Vacant;

Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic
Asphalt plant operator
Building foreman
Heavy Duty Mechanic

The candidate will have worked not less than 5 years as a mechanic postgraduate.
Candidate must be mature from age 35 to 55years.
Sober minded with a keen sense of duty
Working knowledge and experience of Mercedes Benz truck engine models from 2624 onwards
Experience in fault finding and repair of Cat graders from model 120 upwards
Hands-on experience of working on Rubber roller, Still Rollers, and other earth and construction site vehicles.
Hands-on experience with Air Cooled engines from 1 cylinder and upwards.
Reference letters from the last 3 former employers.
ASPHALT PLANT OPERATOR

Candidate preferably with production-related qualification
Must have 5 years experience in asphalt plant operation and Asphalt Production.
35 years and above
Held a supervisory position before with strong leadership qualities
Must have traceable references from previous employers
BUILDING FOREMAN

The preferred candidate must have a Craft Certificate in Bricklaying and Plastering.
Not less than 5 years work experience as a building foreman
30 years and above
Strong leadership qualities with particular attention to detail.
Ability to interpret drawing
Hands-on with a keen sense of duty
3 reference letters from previous employers.

I have noticed not just on this platform but on even more popular Job Search platforms that some of you lack a lot when it comes to applying for a Job. Here a Just a Few pointers to help you with your job search. While Jobs are few, employers find it hard to find the right person because many times you have not provided enough information to convince them that you are qualified for the job you are applying for. So Step one

Have a detailed CV highlighting all duties you hold and have held in previous employment. When doing this try as much as possible to align your content to the role that's been advertised. How with your education you have the required know-how to carry out tasks that come with the position. N.B there is no one size fits all CV.

Step 2
Attach copies of your qualifications and any references (as in letters of reference from previous employment and service certificates. Seminars and short courses and all things pointing to your employment record).

When you post a job online as an employer, you receive over 300+ applications, and going through them is tiring so aim to attract from the first view.
