Lead Acid Batteries VS Lithium Batteries - Important for everyone

Are LED acid batteries much cheaper than lithium batteries? Quite the opposite is true. How? Let's take the price of the kilowatt-hour produced by each.

We need to know:
- Battery life (number of cycles)
- Initial price of the battery

For example, the average life of lithium batteries is 3000 cycles at a discharge depth of 90%.
The price of the battery was $ 3000

If we have a 200 amp and 48 volt battery, the process is as follows:

200 amperes * 48 volts * 3000 cycles * 0.9 discharge depth \ 1000 to convert the output to kW f = 25,920 kWh.
So the cost per kWh = 3000 / 25920 = 0.115 dollars.

For LED acid batteries, the average life span is 800 cycles at a discharge depth of 50%
If we had a 200 amp and 12 volt battery and its initial price was
$300.

The cost per kWh = 200 amperes * 12 volts * 800 cycles * 0.5 depth of discharge \ 1000 to convert the output to kWh and = 960 kWh.
So the cost per kWh = 300/960 = $0.31!

That's three times the price of producing kilowatt-hours of lithium batteries.

And do not forget the importance of the topic of discharge restrictions in LED acid batteries, such as
C10 or C20.
What does this mean?

It means that the battery if the C20 will give its nominal capacity if it is discharged over 20 hours and more.
When discharged in five hours, the battery will lose more than 60% of its face value, giving only 80 amperes instead of 200 for 5 hours, which increases the cost of producing the kWh as well.
