Then the Zamdigester is for you! A Zamdigester is a piece of equipment that turns organic waste, such as animal manure, into usable fuel called biogas. Biogas, combustible methane gas, can be used in gas appliances such as stoves for cooking, milk chilling, generators, heaters and more! The Zamdigester also produces bioslurry as a by-product which can be used as an organic fertiliser, and for fish

and mushroom farming. The Zamdigester is a product of the Energy for Agriculture (E4A) Project which is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) through the Embassy of Sweden in Zambia and implemented by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in Zambia.
