What does Stewards of Africa (SoA) do?
Stewards of Africa organizes Africans into production-based cooperatives and links them to skills, capital, markets, and infrastructure so they can produce, manufacture, and industrialize together.
In practical terms, SoA:
1️⃣ Forms and launches production cooperatives
We legally establish and structure cooperatives in agriculture, construction, extraction & mining, manufacturing, and industrial innovation. Each cooperative is designed as a real business unit focused on production, revenue generation, and long-term growth - not welfare or consumption.
2️⃣ Provides practical, hands-on and apprenticeship survival skills training
We equip members with real working skills through field training, workshops, apprenticeships, and industrial exposure. This ensures cooperatives are productive, disciplined, and capable of delivering quality output and services.
3️⃣ Links cooperatives internally for scale and efficiency
We connect SoA cooperatives to work together, share equipment, facilities, land, storage, transport, and labor. This allows small groups to operate as one large production system capable of handling big contracts and national projects.
4️⃣ Links cooperatives externally to capital and markets
We connect cooperatives to banks, investors, grant institutions, buyers, exporters, suppliers, and strategic partners. This gives cooperatives access to funding, stable markets, technology, and professional networks.
5️⃣ Ensures cooperatives move from production to sales and reinvestment
We help cooperatives not only produce, but also sell their products and services, generate cash flow, manage revenue, and reinvest profits into expansion, equipment, job creation, and new cooperative projects.
6️⃣ Lobbies governments, institutions, and society
We advocate for policies, programs, incentives, and public support that promote cooperative investments, local production, industrial growth, and African economic ownership.
7️⃣ Builds a continent-wide cooperative ecosystem
We are creating a connected African production network where cooperatives across countries operate as one economic system — sharing markets, knowledge, resources, and industrial capacity.
📌 In one sentence:
SoA turns people into producers, producers into cooperative owners, and cooperatives into a connected African industrial system.
