Our Submersible Shallow Well Solar Pumping Set, is suitable for small scale agricultural activities or for supplying domestic water supply from home made shallow wells in rural homes in Zambia.

You can use this unit to water gardens & replace the diesel or petrol powered water pumps.

Our Submersible Shallow Well Solar Pumping (SSWSP) set comes complete with a 10 m X 25 mm, Poly Connectors, Power Control Box, 1 X 250 Watts Solar Panels, cables & installation under our targeted zones @ K7,600.

The SSWPS unit is suitable for domestic water supply from home-made shallow wells up to 7 m depth. This unit is also applicable for watering of small gardens 50 m X 50 m in size.

The SSWPS can fill up a 1000 liters Storage tank within 25 minutes. It has a water pumping rate of 4,800 liters per hour.

It is recommended that the applicable shallow well should have good water yielding rate, to avoid running the water pump without being submerged under water, which will damage the pump.

The SSWPS unit can replace petrol or diesel powered water pumping engines. The savings which can be made from the fuel & oil expenses, within 3 - 4 months will payback the K7,600 a customer will spend to procure our unit.

This makes business sense.

The SSWSP unit maintenance shall commence after 500 hours of operations or after 3 months.

Access to electricity is recognised as fundamental to human development.

Traditional electricity planning relies on top-down projections of future demand based on extrapolation of historic demand patterns or on forecasts of future economic growth.

This methods do not take into account the very different levels of need among consumers nor do they factor in the millions of consumers not yet represented in the connected load.

3. Making availability, reliability & affordability of electricity services, key considerations especially for customers in rural areas of Zambia.

SESZ has developed the Village Power Concept Electrification Program (VPCEP) Project to create improved electricity access which targets to provide electricity to our customers in clusters, using off grid solar power energy solutions.

The VPCEP Project emphasises on the real potential of the non traditional energy supply systems using off grid units to contribute to development.
