Venture Studio PC-5.0 Program Launches Successfully! 🚀

The Technology Transfer, Licensing and Commercialisation Centre successfully hosted an interactive PC-5.0 Program on 9 April 2026 at the HIT Innovation Hub, marking an important step in strengthening Zimbabwe’s innovation ecosystem.

The session was facilitated by the Senior Technology Transfer Officer, Mrs. Chirimhanzi and her team—reflecting a collaborative effort to drive innovation support.

The session on Thursday involved a vibrant and dynamic cohort of young innovators and entrepreneurs. The participants demonstrated a high level of interest and commitment from individuals ready to turn ideas into impact.

During the session, participants openly shared the real challenges they face in navigating the Zimbabwean business ecosystem—from idea generation to implementation. Key issues raised included access to funding, regulatory hurdles, and market realities.

These insights reaffirm why the HIT Venture Studio PC-5.0 Program exists: to support innovators, startups, and SMEs in developing practical, impactful solutions grounded in the Zimbabwean context.

The level of engagement and the powerful questions raised have already shaped the cohort's next phase.
