Why does paint peel? 🎨

Paint peeling is usually a sign that the surface underneath was not properly prepared, or that moisture is affecting the wall. 💦

Before painting, the surface should be clean, dry and sound. Any loose or flaking paint needs to be removed, cracks should be repaired, and damp or moisture issues should be addressed before a new coat is applied.
