We are excited to invite your child to the Tech Sleepover Camp 2026 hosted by Zimbabwe Flying Labs! 🚀

📅 Date: Friday 17 April – Saturday 18 April 2026
🕒 Duration: 2 Days, 1 Night
👦🏾👧🏾 Ages: 9 – 14

📍 Location: 4 Hardy Close, Vainona, Harare

💡 Activities include:
• Drone Flying
• Robotics
• Bonfire & Games
• Fun Tech Challenges

💵 Cost: $100 per child (Discount available for more than one child)

This is a fun, safe, and educational experience where students will explore exciting technologies while enjoying a memorable camp night! 🌟

Our first time at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) has been nothing short of amazing! 🇿🇼🤖

Zimbabwe Flying Labs entered 5 teams:
💡 2 Junior teams
💡 2 Elementary teams
💡 1 Senior team

And we are so proud to share that one of our Junior teams won 3rd place 🥉 and is progressing to the second round! 🚀

Not every team walked away with a trophy, but every single participant walked away with something even more valuable experience, growth, confidence, and unforgettable memories.

We celebrate every student who showed up, built, learned, and pushed themselves beyond limits 💙

This is only the beginning!

Zimbabwe Flying Labs is recruiting youth volunteers (ages 18–21) to support STEM education initiatives in Mutare.

This opportunity provides structured exposure to:
• Artificial Intelligence
• Drone Technology
• Robotics
• Data Science

Volunteers will gain hands-on technical experience, strengthen collaboration and communication competencies, and enhance their career readiness.

We strongly encourage young women to apply as part of our commitment to inclusive STEM participation.

Zimbabwe Flying Labs in Bulawayo!

This past week, our team was thrilled to be in Bulawayo at Petra Senior School, where we led their Tech Explorers Boot Camp, an inspiring event that brought together learners from various schools to dive into the exciting worlds of drone technology and robotics.

Students had hands-on experience learning how drones work, understanding their real-world applications, and exploring how robotics can solve everyday challenges. The energy, curiosity, and creativity they showed truly captured the spirit of innovation we aim to inspire across Zimbabwe.

While in Bulawayo, we also took the opportunity to connect with other schools, introducing them to the STEM programs we currently offer from drones and robotics, to AI and emerging tech.

Our goal remains simple yet powerful: to make STEM education practical, engaging, and accessible to young minds everywhere.

Zimbabwe Flying Labs is proud to be represented at the 4th Southern African Drone, AI & GIS in Disaster Risk Management 2025 Conference & Workshop!

We’re excited to announce that Diana Banda, from Zimbabwe Flying Labs, will be attending this year’s conference taking place from 3rd – 5th November 2025 at Radisson Blue Hotel, Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

This gathering brings together innovators, researchers, and practitioners from across Southern Africa to explore how drones, AI, and GIS technologies are transforming disaster risk management and resilience efforts in our region.

At Zimbabwe Flying Labs, we believe in the power of local and through regional collaboration and knowledge sharing, we continue advancing the safe and impactful use of emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges.
