We are deeply saddened by the tragic boat disaster that occurred at Lake Kariba on 11 August 2026, which claimed the lives of dozens of people.
Our thoughts go out to the families who have lost loved ones. And to all those whose lives have been affected by this heartbreaking incident.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the bereaved, and offer solidarity to the survivors and to our nation this difficult time.
